Mall of America, Bloomington Minnesota

Our trip to the Mall of America started with parking in the east parking lot and walking in the mall and down some steps and went on a the light rail to downtown Minneapolis. The price was right at $0.75 each and the ride lasted about 45 minutes each way, we went through the downtown and did not have 1anxiety episode.

At the 3rd stop from the end we got off and looked for a place to have something to eat and decided to eat at  a Greek restaurant. The man below took what looks like a cheese grader and started at the top and sliced downward for meat, it was a combination of beef and lamb. Surprisingly enough, the "Gyro" was really good. It came with home made French fries--not low calorie or low fat..but really good none the less.

Differnt style buildings in downtown.

This was the beginning of the Nickelodeon amusement park (7+acres) in the middle of the mall.
We had tossed around (before we saw this) the idea of going on the roller coaster-well we took one look and it was decided in an instant that we were NOT going on this roller coaster (not on the bucket list)
Largest Lego store in the world..really cool
Another view of the amusement park. What a great place for children-= 1 ride was $5 and 2 for $9.
On our way to Wisconsin in the am. Still loving our journey.
