This golf course is a city run course that was super busy. It was a beautiful
course and very well kept up. We played with 2 nice men that were
understanding of my abilities and very complimentary of my few good shots.
I couldn't pass up taking a picture of this plaque.
Our tee off time was 0749, we wanted it prior to the hot afternoon.
Fortunately we did not encounter any coyotes.
My gosh, I was walking down the 2nd fairway and a huge amount of Canadian geese
flew over me!!I could not believe how big they were-the biggest geese I have ever seen.
We were amazed at the numbers of geese in the area, especially at the zoo and the surrounding park. I hope you get to go there! We even fed a couple of them as we dined at the zoo. They were demanding! Also loved the prairie dogs, some in vacant lots right in the city. Glad you are having fun there! You are making me miss that city.
