May 26, 2014-Our home at the Voyager in Tuscon Arizona

I have had many requests from family as well as friends to see what our home in Arizona looks like. The windows straight ahead look at 8th street and the entrance is to the right through a set of patio doors. The futon can be double as a guest queen size bed. The black coffee table is a lifting coffee table and the top will lift into a table, with storage underneath.

 The patio entrance door is to the left of the TV and our kitchen is to the right. Very compact but oh so right for the 2 of us. Our TV is bigger than we need, but we bought it for our DHS house and we were not going to leave it.

If you were to sit in the window seat, you would be looking at the kitchen.(above) The hallway on the left leads to our bedroom and the bathroom is 1/2 way down on the left side on the hall. Across from the bathroom is a linen closest. The table has 2 lift up sides and drawers on both sides. Under the window seat cushion is a storage area for extra linen. I hope to have that fabric replaced some time. In the back of the picture is a built in hutch, I am so excited!!, and above the TV is a hutch too!! I have never had any type of hutch..The bathroom is complete with a tub, shower and lots of storage space. We had such fun buying matching towels, rugs and accessories.

               

When we are in bed, this is our view. We have a door that goes to the deck!! but it will not close once it is open, it takes 2 men and boy to close it. So for now, it stays closed.

 When you  walk into the bedroom, there is a large double mirrored closet on the right. Behind the bed is a big window and on the deck side there is another window. Both open, but it is way too hot now to open any windows, maybe in the fall.

We are not going to put any of our outside yard art up at this time, we will do it when we come down in the fall. All the yard art is sitting on the deck waiting for us to put it in the house prior to us leaving. We are leaving here on Friday May 30th and going to go to Palm Springs for a few days and then on to Adam and his family's (La Guiana Beach, Calif) on June 2nd. We will leave Adam's on the 8th and head toward Wenatchee. We will be in Wenatchee on June 11th, visiting family and friends and head to Bremerton on the 16th. We will spend some time there to do our yearlies and visit with Stacie and family, then on to Hoodsport until the 22nd of August and then we are off again!!!
