Travel day to Pt Huron and crossing into Canada

Our drive from Stockbridge Michigan to Port Huron on the 14th of June should have taken us about 2.5 hours, but it took us closer to 4 hours-we stopped at Walmart and Costco, shopped and then tried to find room for every thing-but we made it. Camped overnight at  Thousand Trails, didn't unhook the car, just connected water and power so we could make a fast get away this morning.

This was the view on the drive into our parking spot-you can't see it, but the freeway is just on the outer edge of the picture-the woods helped with the freeway noise and seeing the traffic.
Got up-went 10 miles down the road and gassed up at Sam's club and we were on our way. We had absolutely no trouble going through customs, asked us if we had alcohol or firearms-we said no and off we went. It was a breeze-hope the let us come back home as easily.
