Alaskan Cruise -back stage tour 7.8.13

On Saturday the 8th of July we went on a tour of the inter-workings and the back
stages of our cruise ship. It was very interesting and the doors that went from
all the galley's into where the guests were,  had this sign on them.

 Two full time butchers

 Fruit from Wenatchee

Our cruise numbers and it felt like 2/3 of the count was children under 10.

All of the breads and desserts are made from scratch.

The almost empty ice cream freezer.
Every thing possible is separated and recycled

This passage way goes from stern to bow and is only used by the crew-nicknamed Highway 10

The dry cleaning, washing and drying is done on board.

Clean wet sheets are put in this machine where they are dried and folded.
 Performers dressing rooms

Model of our ship near the bridge.

The highlight of the tour was the tour of bridge.
On the port side of the ship there was a walk-able Plexiglas window that looked down to the water.

 Looking aft from the bridge
 Looking forward from the bridge-
One of three complete stations to steer and control the ship!

Our room was on the right
