A day with Amy Yang-LPGA golfer 3.19.14

Today we were "on call"  to be walking scorers at the Founders Cup LPGA tournament near Phoenix, AZ.  But they did not need us, so we got to spend the time with Amy. Amy Yang is the young LPGA player that we have gotten to know in the last couple of years doing volunteer work at the LPGA tournaments. Today was the Pro-Am day. Pro(Professional)/ Am (Amateur) day is when a professional golfer pairs up with 4 amateurs and  they play a round  of golf. The amateurs are sponsored by corporations and the  money goes to help sponsor  LPGA youth activities.

Ron, Amy, me and Joon (Amy's dad)

The 4 amateurs and Amy- but WOW those amateurs can really hit the ball!!

 Amy and her caddie Dave

The bunkers on the course were unbelievable and they were on every hole.

Amy thinking and planning her putt on the 18th hole.
We had such a fun day and we are looking forward to being course marshals on hole number 8 tomorrow,
