We left on April 11th on an overnight cruise to the Grand Bahama Island, our accommodations were small, but very clean. It started to rain just after we boarded, but only lasted about 30 minutes. The boat was old and we thought the elevators were very interesting.
Across from our hotel, was a Straw Market, that sold "valuable"
souvenirs, we were lucky, only sweatshirts jumped into our shopping bags.
Breakfast was just around the corner and delicious.
The view from our room was just gorgeous and we spent our time on the balcony enjoying the quiet.
We heard drums beating and people "singing?" and looked outside and down; there was native dancing and a drums beating. The natives were dressed in costume, really had the moves and could make the noise!!
We enjoyed our stay on the Grand Bahama Island and another place marked off our bucket list.
