We left Cheney, Washingon on 4/12/12and headed for Kalispell Montana to visit with Ron's daughter and son-in-law for a few days. We encountered snow, rain, sunshine and every weather in between, but fortunalitiy, we arrived safe and sound about 2pm,with no problems to speak of. We parked the rig in their driveway with their "pets". We enjoyed watching and listening to the strange noises.( at least to us).

Male turkey looking for girlfriend!!! My gosh the noises they make!!

Apparently these 2 men have their eye on the same lady!!!

True to our goals we played golf in Montana-well Ron and Tyler played golf-I just swung at a little white ball and had a nice walk. We'll have to play golf in Idaho on our way back, snow is not OK for golf.

We arrived today in Helena MT about 1230. Today was a day where we learned a lot about directions and ourselves, who/what to follow and who/what not to follow. It was a challenge but a good lesson for both of us. It was also a time to learn about being out of the Pacific NW  TV satellite zone, Ron spent quite a while with a very patient representative from Direct TV.

  1. Great photos! We will enjoy following along with you! Will you be coming anywhere near Cheyenne? We'll be there in 9 days.
