First full day in West Virginia

When we left this am, this was the view-raining-thought we were home for a minutes, and the view was the same when we came back home.
We noticed a big rig that passed us and we decided to investigate the cargo, as you can see it was  full of pigs and this guy wanted out!

West Virginia's state capital, located in Charleston

It was raining so hard that no one was walking out side to take our picture on the steps.

View from the front of the capital

State seal

The tour was self guided and we could not go beyond the ropes-so again, no signature picture with one of us holding the gavel.

When we were walking back to our car and this elderly women drove up on the sidewalk, turned left and headed toward a statue. The parking attendant tried to stop her (that is him behind her car pounding of the back window), she did not stop, drove around the statue, drove out the way she came in, found a parking place and got out. Yikes, I hope that isn't Ron or me in 20 years!!

We went to a glass blowing factory, through the museum and gift shop. This broken glass was between the retail area and the factory. Not sure what the purpose is, but the colors were beautiful.
