We arrived in Frankfort Kentucky, got set up and left to go to downtown to go through the state museum and we were lucky enough to be able to take the last guided tour of the "old state capital". The capital was beautiful with very limited original furnishings and our guide was really cute-but did not know how to give a tour to interested adults.
The banners on the front of this historical building were advertising a skate board contest!! how weird is that? the other banner was advertisement for a bank!! kinda ruined the moment.

Fireplace of the first law library, |

One of the few cement spiral staircases with no visible means of support |

A piano with the strings on the outside |

The hall of governors for Kentucky-it was interactive and very well done. |

We have gone by many cemataries in our travels, but this is the only one that we have wandered through, it was very interesting and the view of the "new"capital was just breathtaking. |
