We had been told from several people that this was not a capital worth seeing-yikes they were really wrong-it is one of the most beautiful capitals that we have seen yet. We had a tour with an enthusiastic young lady who really new her history.
The grounds around this capital were absolutely beautiful-even on a cloudy sunless day. |

House of Representatives
Supreme Court-Ron is the Chief Justice for the day. |
Here we are in the Senate
I was very impressed with the name plates of each representative-when the representative wants to address the leader they take their microphone and stand it straight up. |

Peppers and other unknown plants make up the planter in front of the capital. |
These peppers are used as part of the landscaping color scheme. Not a fancy place, but good food and look at the prices |
Kathy's catfish, grits, fries and cornbread (the pancake looking things on the plate).
Ron's Country ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw and cornbread. |
This is a real time keeping clock with the word Kentucky spelled out in the flowers.
