Golfing in Maryland

This morning we teed off at 7am with the goal of playing 18 holes. It was warm and humid this morning so we rented a cart. Even with that, it was really hot and humid, I only lasted 8 1/2 holes..It was way to hot, so I was Ron's caddie and driver for the rest of the 18 holes. Ron shot a 98 and I had 50+ for my 8 holes. Not a good day for me, but we had fun any way. It cost us $80 for both our golf and the cart and the course itself was in really ruff shape-certainly not worth the money. A man that we were talking to said that we were in the DC corridor-come to find out we were only 18 miles miles from downtown-no wonder it was so expensive. To be a member it was $1300 a year for a single and $2600 for a couple.

There was a freak storm last week that cut a swatch through this golf course and tore big trees up by their roots and broke huge branches off of other trees. It looked like a war zone in some areas.
