LPGA tounament-Naples 1st day volunteering

We arrived at the course at 0625 and checked in at the Volunteer tent, caught a ride on a shuttle and started our shift at 0730!! We got back to the volunteer tent about 1pm!! a long day but a really fun day!!

We were the cart drivers for the amateurs, their clubs were on the back of the 2 carts and the caddy carried the pro's clubs. We were with Amy Yang-a very nice young woman that was very easy to be around. No snootiness and certainly treated all of us with respect and grace. We now belong to the Amy Yang fan club. When we were done with the round her team was 15 under and they were in first place.

 My guy!!

On the golf course we saw all kinds of new birds and animals.

On several of the holes the greens and the next tee are quite a ways apart and there were volunteers that carted the people from place to place-but Ron always drove Amy and her caddy!! What fun!!

Another beautiful Florida long legged bird.

We have been told that alligators are common place in the golf courses in Florida.
There are many golf balls in the water near shore!!!!

This course was very very long and surrounded by multi-million dollar homes.

The final score for the day!!

Another favorite of ours, Morgan Pressel and her caddie "Rock"

We are back to the course tomorrow to do it all over again.!!!What a fun day!!!
