Volunteering at the LPGA in Naples Florida

We wore many different hats while volunteering at the the LPGA, as I  have said before we drove golf carts for the Pro-Am Tuesday and Wednesday.

Thursday we were stationed at the Hospitality House- We were on the 18th green, and we checked folks to make sure they had the right ticket to enter the different Hospitality suites.  It was a fun time-we were so close to the 18th green we could practicallyy see the golfers eye color.

On Friday and Sunday were were crossing guards at a main intersection in the golf course area. We  stopped traffic and predestrians from crossing while the golfers, caddies and the officials were being taken by golf cart from the driving range to the first tee. It was quite an experience.

We had a great time and have met
some of the nicest folks. We have been so fortunate to spend time with so many different people and have made connections with several of them. On Monday we went to the volunteer luncheon, had the best ribs ever and won a door prize of a $100 gift certificate at the PGA tour golf store.. Yikes we had so much fun spending that $100. We left for Miami on Tuesday the 20th.
