In the RV park we met a delightful lady named Sally that offered to be our tour guide at Epcot. We had no idea what we were going to see and do for the day. It was a marvelous day, Sally was entertaining as well as a superb tour guide. She knew all the ins and outs, she retired from Disney a few years ago. The picture was taken just inside the Epcot entrance.
Epcot has a completely different feel and atmosphere than Magic Kingdom, it is geared toward education and people of all ages. We walked into all the exhibits and only waited 15 minutes one time all day. Night and day from Magic Kingdom. Although as you can see below there still were no shortage of the stroller generation. Throughout the park there were multiple areas that were designated "Stroller Parking."
We went on a boat that showcased different areas that Epcot is
doing to make earth a better and healthier place to live.
Outdoor green house with the fruits and vegetables growing tree
style using a minimum amount of water and space.
Lettuce is on the left and on the right is zucchini growing from one root base that is strung thru a net and hangs down instead of laying on the ground. All of the vegetables that were shown on the tour were harvested and served at the "Land" restaurant.
We went for Chinese food and it was delicious-Ron had shrimp fried rice with an egg roll and I had orange chicken and white rice.
Nemo and the Borchers!!
The Troll and the Borchers!!
For days I have been attempting to upload the rest of the pictures from our day,
but for whatever reason I can not get them from my pictures file into the blog.
