The wind was blowing so hard this am that we closed the slides of the motorhome before leaving for the Little Bighorn Battle field. Once we got outside we realized that we would need our winter coats and umbrellas.  The visitors center at the battle field had a very informative 17 minute video that really enhanced our vist.

After our visit to the battle ground we drove to Pictograph Cave state park which is in Billings Mt. The closer we got the harder it rained and the harder the wind blew. Time to put our heavy coats on and break out the umbrellas again.Even with the wind and rain it was a very pleasent drive after we got off the freeway, through farm land and cattle ranches. There was at the least 1 very busy bull last year, almost all the cows had claves and looked like many of the cows had multiple calves.

 Going up
 Going down

Although almost impossibe to see, these are the pitographs (they are colored red). We decided that the best part of this particular adventure was to get back in the car and turn the heat on high. Tomorow we are headed to Gillette Wyoming.
