Carlisle and Gettsburg Pennsylvania

We arrived at the RV park on Friday June 29th at about 2 pm, and we attempted to hook up to 30 amp and the circuit breaker kept tripping. Mind you it was 96 degrees, to make a long story short we ended up moving the rig to a 50 amp circuit ($4 more a night) and we have been cool ever since. We have a terrible time with their WIFI and our phones do not work 90% of the time
This pool is just across from the back of our rig-but we have had no time to enjoy it and we forgot our beach towels!! Which is ok, because neither one of us are water people.
We took a ride into Gettysburg to check things out and ended up spending the day- We took a 2 hour guided bus trip through the battle grounds. The next few pictures are of the battle fields and famous generals that led the fighting. (Another really hot day) 96+ degrees

The above picture of us in standing directly behind the above statue of General Meade.
We visited a diorama of the Civil War-There was 3 days of fighting in Gettysburg, July 1, 2 and 3. The diorama was very interesting-The room was dark and on each day the battles were lit up and showed which way the north and the south were marching.

This is a replica of the train that Lincoln traveled on to give the Gettysburg address.
