Niagra Falls, USA

On Wednesday June 27th we went to the American side of Niagra Falls. We parked on Goat Island and started our day with touring the Cave of the Winds. We were given yellow rain slickers and real styling sandles. We took an elevator down and then walked to the falls-the further we went up the wetter we got and the more windy it got.
Nice stylen sandles-we put both the slicker and the sandles in the Thule in our " earthquake preparedness kit"

These steps and platforms are taken down in the fall and  replaced every year in April.
We got quite wet but it was such a great experience-the noise was deafening.
The next adventure was a ride on the "maid of the mist" and we really got wet on the adventure.

The tour boat headed straight into the falls and stayed there for quite a while-it was very exciting.

We were on the front of the boat!! windy and wet-and really fun!!
After the cruise, we walked up to top of a very wet stairwell that was close to the bridle vale falls.
For the last adventure of the day we walked along the Niagra river-to the left
is the Niagra falls and to the right is Horseshoe falls-what a great day..
