This was the biggest capitol so far!! This capitol was made of red
 limestone-one of only 2 capitols. Absolutely beautiful!!1

All of the door hinges were like the ones below

The original office of the Treasury-now used as the visitors tour center.

House of Representatives

Senate was in session and a very busy place.

State capital dome

Going into the state museum-windy and cold

Famous Texas battle flags

Off to the LBJ Library and Museum

Boxes and boxes of LBJ's political papers all cataloged and behind glass.

LBJ and Kennedy etched in cement medium 12-15' tall

Replica of LBJ's office in the white house.

Replica of Lady Bird's office in the White House

The car that the Johnson's ordered after LBJ left office. It weighed 5,000 pounds as compared to 10,000 pounds of the car that was used during his presidency. This car did not have any armor.

We came up on this car and could not see if it was actually self driven or not!!

We had such fun!!
