Colorado-U.S.A. Air force academy-8.26.13

We did not have a plan for today, so we decided to go out to the academy and take more pictures (I was really careful this time and did not delete them.)
The Academy's chapel is really beautiful and the window on the walls and the ceilings are priceless.

The cross is  hanging from the chapel ceiling.
The pipe organ is above the main entrance, wish we could have listened to the music.
Lower level chapel with different religion symbols represented. The chapels are set up for any and all religions.

Prior to lunch the first years are getting ready to fall into formation and practice turning and marching.

All the first year cadets run outside, but they must stay on the squares.

Getting back into formation to march to lunch.

When walking back to our car I saw this interesting tree with this twisted limb.
