April 24th, 2014-Japanese dinner on the cruise ship

After our long day in Costa Rica we decided to have a Japanese dinner fixed on the grill in front of us. We neither one had had that experience before and afterward we decided it was a once in a lifetime experience.

The appetizer, salad and soup was interesting, in the foreground the green vegetable looked like pea pods that we were to dip in the sauce below. They were not peapods and the sauces were awful-extremely salty and spicy.
Our chief thought he was an entertainer!!
These eggs were the first part of the fried rice-the fried rice was delicious.
These are prawns, onions, carrots and squash-they were done to perfection and tasted yummy.

We also had steak that was cut into cubes and fried on the grill-not so good!
Last but not least was the desert!! Green tea ice cream and green tea cake!! It tasted like it looked! UGH!!!
